At the end of the fiscal year, the student is reported as graduated early through a data submission in SAIS.  At the beginning of the following fiscal year ADE will extract early graduate data from SAIS and make a State Aid appropriation adjustment to transfer funds to the Early Graduate Scholarship Fund. 

ADE will also increase the ADM for the school through an override in the following fiscal year so that the Districts and Charters receive any budget capacity and/or funding increases that they would normally receive from those students as if they were included with their cohort graduating class.

Districts

Since Districts are funded on prior year ADM figures, $2,200 will be subtracted from the State Aid Equalization payment for the District in the year after the following year when the funding increase from the ADM is effective.

Charters

Since Charters are funded on current year ADM figures, $2,200 will be subtracted from the State Aid Equalization payment for the Charters in the fiscal year after the graduation when the funding increase from the ADM is effective.
